           We're in the business of tying the most historically accurate, well dressed, longest lasting featherwing streamer flies on the market today. Here you will find patterns designed by streamer pioneers like Herb Welch and Carrie Stevens along with many others. Classic & contemporary featherwing streamers that were and are designed for trout and salmon fishing in some of Maine's most famous waters such as; Moosehead and Sebago Lakes along with the Rangeley Lakes Region. Countless rivers such as the West Branch of the Penobscot, Rapid, Kennebec, Roach, Kennebago, Upper Dam, Grand Lake Stream, Saco and Androscoggin just to name a few.

            We specialize in designing new patterns for specific species in specific conditions.  You'll find over 80 of our own flies that we've designed and tested for the demanding trout and salmon fishing we do, but can also be used in the pursuit of other species as you will read about in the fly and picture galleries.

            We also carry all the materials you'll need in tying your classic salmon flies, featherwing streamers, classic wet flies and bucktails. Our materials include, but are not limited to, many species of duck, pheasant & partridge along with all of the hackle, tinsels, flosses and silks you'll need to create or re-create your own classic or contemporary patterns.  Hard to find and dyed materials are our specialty so please be sure to check out our materials page for all of your tying needs.
