Parmacheene Bell Blue The original pattern is a Wet Fly that was created by Henry P. Wells of Providence, Rhode Island. It was designed in 1878 and the streamer version is a Carrie Stevens adaptation she tied for numerous clients. This is an adaptation I tie for fishing the early spring when fish are feeding on smelts. The wing is white flanked by silver doctor blue and the photo doesnot do it justice.
