Ghost Queen I was tying up some striper flies for a day on the Kennebec River when this pattern popped into mind. I use a lot of lavender on my salt water patterns so I quickly threw a streamer hook in the vise and tied this. The purple flanked by light blue dun gives a dramatic effect in the water and resembles a smelt. I have taken many cold water species of fish on it year round like salmon, brookies and bows and Ive also taken some salt water species on it like stripers and sea run browns.
