B & B (Black & Blue)

This is a smelt imitation of sorts. I developed this pattern with influences from numerous smelt patterns. A few of its influences are the Magog Smelt, Supervisor, and Herb Johnson. This fly doesn't look anything like a Gray Ghost, but that was also a strong influence. This fly works great when there are smelt present and works especially well when trolled in the spring time.
