Antique

After purchasing some old fly tying kits at auction, I decided to tie up a true "classic antique" fly. I had been playing with this patterns colors for a while and once I sat down at the vise it just came to me. The original Antique pattern, which is pictured below, uses antique flat french embossed tinsel, antique thread and antique claret silk. This pattern works very well in the fall.
