Lady Ghost

This is a pattern of Bert Quimby, who was from South Windham, Maine. However, it was actually Carrie Stevens who popularized it by tying it for numerous clients. This is a very effective smelt imitation that works very well in the spring. This is a combination of the original and newer dressing and we will be offering the original version in late winter 2006. The new dressing is as pictured without the tail, and the original dressing has the tail, then body of red floss with flat silver rib and no golden crests. We have been having a LOT of success with the original on salmon and brookies throughout the 2005 season.
