This is a stained glass version of my West Branch Ghost streamer as I originally tied it. It measures 21 inches long by 10 inches tall. It is made up of 66 individually cut, foiled and soldered pieces of 9 different types and textures of glass. The glass was cut in the same direction as the feather and hair fibers in a real fly to give it a more realistic look. The picture on the left is the fly on an outside door window that was covered with white tissue paper to diffuse the light and block out the background. It is just the natural, outdoor light coming through the back of the glass. The picture on the right was taken with the indoor lights on. This way you can see how it looks in different light conditions. It was made for and hangs in my office.
