Duanus Yet another pattern which also has strong influences from a salmon fly, "Aguanus". The original was desinged by Francois Barnard who was a fisheries biologist in Sept-Isle, Quebec. Roland Landry and Roger Noel also helped in this flies development and the original was derived from several older patterns. "Aguanus" was named after one of the rivers on the north shore. My conversion is a great attractor pattern and has taken many nice salmon, both landlocked and Atlantics, along with sea run browns.
