This fat 21 inch female brookie was loaded with eggs and caught while staging.  The photo was snapped and she was quickly released to go right back to her business, which she did without hesitation.  Normally I dont place a fish on its side on the ground just for a photo, but sometimes I do when I think the fish can handle it or when the ground is wet like this was after high water.  She was caught on a "Vigs Brook Trout" like most of the large brookies I catch.
