This huge hen landlocked salmon was caught in September on the West Branch of the Penobscot River, Maine.  This is my home water where I pursue fish this big almost on a daily basis.  If I can fool a big ole' gal like her into taking one of my flies then I figure Im doing something right.  Yes, it is dark in the background because this fish was caught at about midnight.
