W.B.Ghost Var.#3 Another version of my "W.B. Ghost" but this one had strong influences from Ray Bergman's wet fly, "Blue Jay". The W.B. Ghost had been around since 2000 when I saw the "Blue Jay" in the Forgotten Flies book by the Complete Sportsman (they also put out the Art of Angling Journal). When I saw the wing color of the "Blue Jay", which uses Eurasian Jay, I couldn't believe the resemblance. So this is almost an exact copy of the "Blue Jay" and is a perfect example of how a pattern can morph into a completely different looking fly.
