Upper Richardson

This is another heavily influenced Bergman patern. The original "Richardson" is a very effective wet fly, but after seeing it I envisioned it as a streamer. This is a great smelt imitation and a very productive fly. I don't know where Ray got the name for his original, but I suspect the Rangeley area. I decided to call this "Upper Richardson", after the Lake and I also have the "Lower Richardson" with it too being named after the lake. Both are very effective minnow imitations and are great trolling flies.
